this film is in two parts available.( 30 and 18 minutes)
It was recorded at 3 am in the morning by Ralf Kilauea.
I had to buy a new VHS cassette recorder to digitalize the film and I am very proud to have this historic performance in my collection!!

Nice! I felt like I was in a dark, sweaty, Berlin club at 3:00am, lol. I've always liked the Krontjong Devils but it has always seemed to be difficult to find out more about them. So to see them perform was very cool. I'm looking forward to part 2.

Hello Brian
the gig was in the city of Halle (also formerly East Germany)and Gerhard Rinsma asked the audience "seid ihr nicht muede?" which means aren´t you tired.
The crowd cheered "NO" keep on going on but honestly - they were very very tired as Ralf wrote to me when he had gotten back his video cassettes and the dvd.
The cd "the Krontjong Devils On Tour!!! from 1998 (Telstar Records 28)has 16 tracks some of which are also be heard in the film.
Try to get a copy of this wonderful live album.
Shortly before the group went onstage a guy who was in the audience was killed by a car in the street in front of the house.
It wasn´t an easy set for the group Gerhard wrote to me - this emphasizes the great professionality the guys had to perform nevertheless this great gig.
