I got some of the new Electro Harmonix C9 Organ pedals in stock and decided to do a pedal demo.
I took the original Ventures Telstar tune and Eq'd out the organ and guitar parts, leaving the bass and drums as a backing track.
Keep in mind that this is a pedal demo and so I keep the pedal and guitar parts up front in the mix.
This pedal is really fun to play with
I only demo'd the Telstar setting on the pedal, there are several more organ settings in the C9 Organ pedal
I am a EH Pedal dealer and so I do these demo's for customers
EH has there own really nice demo clips on Youtube for those wanting to see what else it can do
My guitar doing all the organ parts in this demo
This is mix #1, check it out

Not to be nit picky, but Telstar was Originally by the Tornados from England.

Yes, I know that. Thanks
I should have said that I used the original Ventures tune as my backing track and not the original Tornados tune

Thanks all for the comments
Yes, it is allot of fun to play
I have not had time to explore the other 8 organ sounds yet
Only the Telstar setting, which was really cool
PM me if you are interested in the C9 Organ pedal
I sell them cheaper than the the music stores.
I don't want to do that on the forum here

Thanks for the demo. For someone who plays at home largely without other instrumentation, this has some neat possibilities. I really like that it has a completely separate dry output jack.

Yeah, that is a plus
You do do a dry amp and wet amp setup
EH also makes a B9 Organ pedal that is really cool
I have them in stock also

Holy smokes! I was a bit dubious of these (my dad is an organist...) but they are super cool!

The B9 works great for the Royal Aces, on the organ solos in Out of Limits, and Runaway, as well as for Green Onions and our instrumental version of Gimme Some Lovin'. Also excellent for the main riff in California Sun. A very impressive pedal.

Very nice. You should do a video. I have the b9, I used it in a few gigs in my country band for our cover of Big in Vegas (Buck Owen) and Can't you See (Marshall Tucker Band)
Looks like the C9 is on my list now.

I tried one and thought it was great for single note playing but not for chords of more than two notes. I'm hoping the next generation improves on that. I really like your Telstar example though, EL.

No, the B9 and C9 are both polyphonic.
You can do full bar chords and every note rings through perfectly.
You can hear me doing full bar chords in my demo

I know it's polyphonic but it didn't negotiate the chords of several notes played simultaneously very well. I'm not hearing full chords in your excellent demo. At what time on the demo can the full chords be heard? -Marty

Right off the bat, the intro organ part is full bar chords starting at F# going up to A.

Your into certainly doesn't sound broke up as it did when I tried it in the store. I'll have to give it another try! I don't recall whether I tried the B9 or C9. -Marty
