Great! Lots of good tunes coming from Latin America.
This is gonna be a hard one, but I'll do my best.
Here I two instrumentals you may like to consider.

Yes, the main musicians in this band (Marisol and Alex) are from South America and, more important, the music is definitely heavily influenced by Latin American music. I don't see any "German" influences in there.

I agree with Teisco totally! Teisco has written down the arguments.
Los Twang Marvels were a german band! also important: They were founded in Germany. So what?
If I would move to California, meet there 2 germans and a Californian bass player I would never say we are a german band. This would be a californian band then.
— Twang cheers!

Hi guys,
I have been discussing this with Lorenzo and Jonpaul and we unanimously decided that Los Twang! Marvels is eligible for entry in the Latin American Top 61.
Two persons in the band, of which the main composer, are from South America and the only person in the band with a German passport is the drummer. Yes they were formed in Germany and they played a lot more in Germany but in our opinion that does not make them a German band.
If Phantom Frank, our bassplayer and me would decide to form a new band while relocating to Brazil, would that make us a South American band? NO!
The Treble Spankers were Dutch, The Phantom Four are Dutch and just because we would eat and shit on the other side of the ocean would not make us a Latin American band.
Though formed and based in Antigua in the Caribbean, Wadadli Riders with our friend Lorenzo Surfer Joe consisted of three Italians and therefore in our opinion was an Italian band.
I can see why some Germans want to claim this legendary band but we have decided they CAN enter the list. If we will ever do a German Top 61 or a European Top 101, Los Twang! Marvels is not eligible for entry.
Because of their roots the music they make breathes Latin America in a way only Latin American bands can do that.
There will always be debates like this and I understand the arguments of both sides but in this case it is decided.
Cheers,

Also, just listen to their music, most of it has Latin stamped all over it.

OK guys. with the Classic and Revival 101 behind us let's focus on the next countdown list; our new Latin American Top 61.
Bring in those votes! 6 tracks by Latin American bands should not be too hard. Good luck.
