Permalink Tone King Imperial

Latter today I may be trading my Top Hat-King Royale
for a Tone King-Imperial. It's a 20 watts with a 1X12
with Reverb and Tremolo. Is 20 watts loud enough and I
have never had an Amp with a 1X12. Here are a couple of pictures
and the Amp is brand new.

20 watts will probably be fine. If you need more volume on stage, you will probably mic the amp through the PA. If your band plays loud, you might want to try it out at a rehearsal.

I play though a 30-35 watt amp with the volume up about half way, and it is plenty loud, even when not miked in a small club.

Rev I did the trade today and I've been playing thru the
Amp for 1Hr. My guitar sounds sweet and I love the Reverb
and Tremolo and I also like the fact that it has no (Master
Volume) Reverb is on both channels and I want to get this
Amp for a long time. Also it did not coast me any money.

Congratulations! That is one sweet amp.

This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got.

Noel, this trade came very fast there were three other
people who wanted the Amp. I did trade my Top Hat even
and this new Amp for nails the Surf Music sound that I
like.

Rev I wanted to get this Amp back in the late 90's and I never
had the money. I don't know to many people playing thru this
Amp here on this board. It's a fun Amp to play and my Telecaster
sounds sweet thru it.

I always loved the aesthetic of Tone King amps. Good to know they sound good.

pavlovsdog great Amp to play thru and if I could have just
one more Amp it would be another Tone King. The one I like
is the Galaxy.
