I am far away from high speed or even low speed internet, so I couldn't listen in and share the building excitement of the countdown.
Thanks to everybody who voted, and for considering a couple of my songs for the Top 101. It really is a huge honor to be listed with so many great artists.
I don't know how to thank the folks who listen to NSSR, but don't hang out on SG101. I wish they would join us here. If they are voting, that means they are fans of the music, and I know we'd love to have them contributing here.
Thanks to all the NSSR DJs and Niels especially for all the hard work involved in providing and maintaining a steady stream of surf music!

I think it is super cool that guys like Ferenc and Ivan got multiple bands into the top 101. Just goes to show that songwriting is very important! Each of their bands has a truly different sound but the brilliance behind it still existed.
