One thing that's always got me about the 'Pulp Fiction' soundtrack album is, Link Wray's "Rumble" is absent, although it was in the movie. My only guess would be a licensing issue; they could use the song in the movie, but not on the resulting soundtrack album?

There is a special 2cd edition with more songs and an interview with
Quinten. I believe that Rumble is on that special edition.

Very good read indeed. I admit that Misirlou and that movie got me back into playing surf again. That song still shows up in our set from time to time. It is a great song to grab an audience that is not so familiar with our genre.

I'll have to put the deluxe edition on my "to buy/to find" list. I'd always avoided buying the soundtrack because of the omitted songs.
