I am in a discussion with a friend who has a guitar similar to the Harris Fandel Jet. As you can see from the photo, it has a third pickup. Do you have any other information on this model or sources that would answer the question?

My Fandel is hanging on the wall. I bought it new the Friday after Thanksgiving 1967. It is a decent guitar and I'm glad I've kept it; still looks and plays plays great. For many years, I thought I was the only person that had one of these.

Whatever it is, it's sure dang cool looking! Yes

Rad guitar! The search is on!

If Bo Diddley surfed, this is what he would have played. Smile

Cool guitar. One of those sold on Ebay for $899.99 in late October, you can see it if you do a search for completed listings for Harris Fandel Jet. Too rich for my blood though. They have it listed as a Fandel H-F702T "Jet Series". It also has the Fandel logo on the headstock.

I'd be interested in buying that guitar if anyone knows where it is now.

That guitar in the picture was mine until about 1985-86 when I gave it to a friend. My father bought it in Greater Boston area in 1967. The wrong screw is on the back of the plate on the bottom causing it to stick up a little and the switch in the front once had a little red ball on top that was jammed on it when the original cover fell off. The Fandel sticker peeled off the top and I think I put an oversized screw in the strap peg as well because the original one came loose. I think I still had the metal cover for the bridge and the whammy bar into the 1990s.
