Thank you, Jake! We appreciate all the kind words. I don't know how 'deserving' we are - there were a lot of great albums out last year - but we'll take it! —Ivan |

As the new guy to surf I'll just say glance at my profile Ivan. You're one of the main reasons I'm here. Still need to listen to this album some more- I only bought 4 Madeira albums this month. Talk about a Cataclysm! —Da Vinci Flinglestein, The Syndicate of Surf on YouTube |

Congrats Guys, Well deserved. I was at there one of the nights you were recording and it was great show. I think Tommy did a great job of capturing that as well. Ivan & Patrick are a great song writting team and it shows. Can't wait for the next one. |

Congrats Ivan, your band mates and everyone else involved with the CD. Well deserved! You obviously got the latest issue before I did (still waiting). I have to agree - there have been some great live surf releases over the years, but yours is definitely one of the best of all time, and I'm proud to have it as part of the Double Crown catalog! —Sean Surf CD's / Vinyl / Fanzines / DVD's |

Wow! Four Madeira albums in one month?? That can't be good for your health! Well, thank you VERY MUCH, Mr. Flinglestein! (Love that name! ) Thanks also for your very kind profile, quite amazing! StevieMartini wrote:
Thank you very deeply, Steve, and for all your support through the years - and of course, for coming to the show all the way from Chicago! We really, really appreciate that. I'm SO GLAD our bands got to play Double-Crown-Records wrote:
Thank you, Sean! I tell you, folks, we're very lucky to have Sean and Double Crown behind us - whatever nasty things you've heard about record labels, NONE of it applies to Double Crown! Sean is simply the best! Thank you for everything, my friend. And thanks again, Alan, you honored us greatly. We had another band practice on Sunday, and the songs for the next album are getting very close to being ready for recording. I love 'em, love 'em, love 'em - and hopefully you all will, too! We'll play eight of them again at our final show until the spring or even summer, on 12/12 in Bloomington, IN, if you want to catch any of them. THANK YOU ALL, we're very grateful!! —Ivan Last edited: Nov 18, 2014 12:06:08 |

Congrats my friend! I think this was our goal in recording this record. Having it stand the test of time as being a classic live surf album. That infectious energy that makes people want to hear it with equalled excitement 20 years from now. This is not manufactured with anything other than great songs and a balls deep performance. —www.facebook.com/pages/The-Concussions/270762379124 |

Thank you, Tommy my friend! Funny enough, I'm listening to the album at this very moment, loud on my home stereo, for the first time in several months. You've done such an amazing job with the recording of it, under significantly less than optimal circumstances! The sound is just absolutely perfect for a live record, it's got balls and the live energy but also that great live ambience. I just love it! Thank you greatly for your (and Dave's) efforts. I guess we pulled it off! —Ivan |

(can't believe I missed this thread) Well done; that one happens to be in the car's player this very minute. OK, Noel, when's the big histriographic interview for Continental gonna be out?
