It was ok, The Insect Surfers with My Pal JonPaul sitting in on Bass was excelent. There was abotu 6 surf fans there.
Luckily the last band Sand Dollar a white reaggae band had about 30 friends fans there, so it wanst a ghost town.

about 15 people form the tiki crowd were gonna come down after the Tiki farm event, But they al got stuck at some body's home tiki bar and never showed up.

Sorry, we didn't play the show that night. I spoke with Clint the day before at the station an he said you have been wanting to catch us live.

Dream Street is difficult place to play. No Parking, sound set up takes for ever and usually hurts the mix more than help it, and no one wants to pay a cover and have to pay for higher priced drinks.

Unfortunately, I had gotten work out of town that kept me from attending all together.

Yeah I'm not super crazy about the Venue, its nice size. but the sound man sucks, I had to park a half a mile away and walk, and Everybody there was either stuck up college kids or dirty hippys.

no worries on not making it, Next time.

I didn't care for that venue either. It had a weird vibe altogether. I asked Jonpaul if they could just forget the sound man altogether ;) haha

Yeah OB has turned into a funky little area. When I lived there over 10 years ago. That side of town was very sketchy. Not that living close to the pier was any better. Just there wasn't as many dark spots at night. Some one needs to Bomb that place with soap. I always feel really dirty after leaving there.

Miking up bands at a club that holds less than 500 people seems pointless to me.

Kristena - Let me know what The Longbards will need gear wise and I will see I can do to accomodate them. If Ziggy gets Monsters from Mars to round out the night. Gear shoudn't be a issue at all.
