Cinefamily (silent movie theater) is one of my favorite places in L.A.
I might hit this one since I get free admission there!

This one is my neck of the woods. A great venue – tons of live music shows on two stages there, by the hippodrome.

'υπποποταμος= river-horse. There is actually a river (concreted, or course) there too.
I've been to the Cantina and seen a horse tethered in the alley out back. Like Pedro or LEfty were washing the dust of a long day on the trail out of their throats with a pitcher of Maragitas.
SO the biker image of the Arrows meets Blue Shadows on the Trail and Gene Autry at the Cantina. Real old Burbank.

Is that the place marked on Google Maps as "New Tops Club – CLOSED" off San Fernando Rd just E of the LA River?
Reviews on hated Yelp! say they have $4 beers!!!  It's a divey punky R&R bar with nothing for hipsters! 
(BTW Missed the Cantina gig – out of town. Anyone else go?)

i liked the Viva Cantina gig, although Davie had to turn his guitar up ,as on 1st coupla songs he was too quiet!
