I'm still up for it. The only clincher is that it's got really heavy strings on it (14-58) like what DD himself uses. It's set up exactly like how DD's Strat is set up.
Yea, those are pretty heavy strings indeed
I think it will be fun to try. (I hope it's not strung up as a lefty!)

I did volunteer for bass earlier but no need to dominate the rap/Jack , if you need me I'm there.

If those strings are too heavy, I have a 60's Player Strat (rosewood board, 7.25" radius) strung with 10's you can use.

Here is a photo of one of the Member Jam bands this year.
The song: The Pier, by The Astronauts
Featuring Tom Kilauea, Ralf Kilauea, Josheboy, JonPaul, and "Surfer Joe" Lorenzo!
The member jam was AWESOME this year! No train wrecks! Everyone sounded GREAT, and considering that there's no rehearsals or anything, it really goes to show you the talent and passion level of our members!
Thanks to "Mom" for organizing it!!!

I totally biffed on Crash.
Didn't get a chance to practice it
At all. Sadly the year before, I nailed it.

Many many thanks to Carol for mentoring and monitoring this very successful members jam. Soooooooo glad to be a part of it. I am also glad you all got to do the BAJA jam on the pier for Marty. (Beth and I had to bolt)
ALSO Many many thanks to all the jam partner players I got to interact with, love you all. And to ALL the jam partners -- WONDERFUL great show of talent WOW, and just think .... No rehearsal.
Beth drew this while we were listening at the starting gate, when she wasn't dancing that is... She truly loved it.

Wow , I heard you got to do the BAJA at the pier. Did that not happen either?
By the way, thanks again for making the members jam happen .. Truly appreciated the opportunity to jam and become fast friends with so many extremely talented people.

Baja jam was supposed to be at Dons, after the pier.
But it was hijacked by a little surf elf.

i was wondering why my guitar sounded a bit dull through the groovy vintage SG101 amps- after i played the 2 songs (Shadowland, SPYDA's Web),I realized that i'd had the tone half-rolled off on my guitar knobs, D'OHH ! that's what happens after getting about 4 hours sleep the night before! On the other hand, i was happy with the way i played, and the playing of ALL the other musicians was absolutely interstellar! Thanks.SG101 family !
