Listening to this again and I'm absolutely blown away by this album.

"It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea

Just recently had that same reaction. Isn't that the greatest feeling--to revisit an album and it's even better than you remember it? It's also a true test of its depth and longevity! A modern classic for sure!

I bought this new last week and yes, it's fantastic.

Totally buggered me up going to work though! My usual 1 hour walk was reduced to 45 minutes as the rhythms drove me on faster through the mean streets of Streatham, Tulse Hill, Brockwell Park, and Brixton in South London.

I may have got away with the occasional swing of my hips too!

It's a good job I have a fresh shirt, towel, and deodorant at work...

After listening to these unbelievable guys on Surfer Joe I thoroughly explored every their record I could find and Mandira is one of the best albums (surf or whatever) that I ever heard together with Morgana. This groove, melodies, atmosphere, arranging, everything just perfect. Just thank you, was proud to shake your hands!!!
