I was listening to the 'Bikini World' compilation and wondered about these guys. Their track The Hipster on this very good. I take it they were not heard from often. A lot of their videos on YouTube have been removed. According to their Discogs bio, "Italian surf combo from Rome, side project by Max & Bruno of The Others." Truly great stuff! Massimo del Pozzo was in fact in the famous Italian garage band The Others, but also runs/ran the labels Misty Lane and Teen Sound. Misty Lane released some incredible vinyl including the Surf's Up and Surf's UP 2 EPs, I Cosmonauti Sea Storm 7" and Royal Knightmares. Teen Sound put out gems such as Go!! Surf With The Bradipos IV & Gli Scriteriati 7", The Boss Martians' I Dig My Woman 7", Theme For Bathing Beauties And Woodies LP, The Bradipos IV Surf Session, to name a few. —Insect Surfers |
