Seems to be a good project, glad Twin Tones are back with new instro sounds and with Danny as the producer can turn into a really cool record. also .. $27,000 seems to be too much, but they are doing fine until now. —When you have to shoot ... shoot! Well, I've been surprised by both Reigning Monarchs and The Pyronauts, so who knows? Apparently The Twin Tones have a following in Europe and Danny Amis is pretty well known. I chipped in. They're currently doing okayyyy. If they keep going at this rate it looks like it'll be very close, but they've also slowed down a bit. Again, they're asking for almost exactly the same amount that the Reigning Monarchs got... close enough that I wonder if that's why they chose that amount. Normally kickstarters will break the amount down a little bit more to give you an idea. For a comparison of other surf bands' kickstarter winnings the Pyronauts raised 8k, Coffin Daggers 3k and Insect Surfers 9k —Storm Surge of Reverb: Surf & Instro Radio Last edited: Apr 30, 2014 14:14:03 |
