If the game was the same day,
What would you have chosen to see Jake?

Satan's Pilgrims shows are more frequent, especially as Portland is just a 3-4 hour drive.

This just in! Evan Foster's band The Dirty Sidewalks will be the opener!
Oh great! I've caught them 1.5 times, my favorite post-Boss Martians project.
HUGE Brit Pop influence, even down to their style. Evan is playing Noel Gallagher style solos, it is awesome. They are even doing Oasis covers.

Yes, we are very pleased with the bill, it will be a real trip back in time as we used to play at the Crocodile back in the 90s with these same people. Tom Price from Tom Price Desert Classic was in two 3 seminal Seattle bands-The U-Men, Gas Huffer, and The Monkeywrench. We barely ever played with other surf or instrumental bands back then and the bills were often of this variety. Should be fun!

Yeah, it is going to be great. I just chatting with bandmate Mike and broke the news to him that you are playing along with Evan's new band. He was pretty giddy. His birthday is on Friday, and he just got engaged this past weekend and I think he was more excited about this show!

Actually, they Pilgrims show starts at 8:00, they are headlining. I could make it no problem!
I love love love me some Pilgrims(they are hands down top 0.005% live bands on the planet), but I get super emotionally invested in the World Cup, all four weeks of the tournament.

A bump for all of the Seattleites who may see this. Satan's Pilgrims aren't just one of the best live surf bands, they are one of the best live bands, period.

I need a show report, ASAP! Just got home... We tried sending some people to the Pilgrims gig. We finished at 9pm, so hopefully that was enough time for people to make it over.
