Wow...I've actually seen the Diplomats of Solid Sound live... Also, the Nelsonics do some "soul" type stuff too. —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

Damn I saw Duff on Sat. at the Tiki Farm sale, and forgot to ask him if this was him. But he said the Torquays were going to be playing a bit this summer. Jeff(bigtikidude) —Jeff(bigtikidude) |

Still looking for another outlet...The Torquays will probably only come out for "special" occasions...our next big thing is having one of our tunes on MTV's "Jack Ass"...Woo-hoo! I have a nice set of early 60's vintage drums, decent meter, decent skills (on the drums!), a nice Fender Jaguar (to write/play with), a few complete yet, unrecorded surf tunes to share... If you are in O.C. and need a surf drummer...let me know. Thanks, —

Hey there fellow South Orange County Surf Musicians, I am still looking for a new outlet for me and my drums... After 14 years of fun in the sun...(and surf) My life has forever been changed and enriched by the experiences associated with that band and now, I hope to develop some different experiences with a new one! —

Duff!!! So sorry to hear about the Torquays! Yow! However I'm hopeful you'll find another outlet very soon. You rock man. I really enjoyed watching you play a few weeks ago! —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

Duff, sorry to hear the Torquays have called it a day. When I got to play a couple tunes with Paul Johnson and DP at the convention I was defenately stoked but when I saw you at the drums, that made it WAY MORE special for me!!! Best of luck in your future indevors, which I'm sure will be great! Rick |

Just don't take the Metrolink Duff. My buddy's wife missed that train by 30 minutes. She passed the freight train leaving Simi Valley that just rammed the Metrolink in Chatsworth today. 20 dead so far. Crazy. Be careful following the masses. Sometimes the "M" is silent........................... |
