My project guitar, built from a Japanese 60's pressboard body and accompanying neck, is pretty nice – it's just that the Strat-length neck is not doing it for me. Too much shrinkage of fingerboard over the decades apparently hanging on a wall in LA. It's just crudely made and will never play easily.
So I'm looking for an affordable replacement. Anyone have some spares they are willing to sell or trade for gear?
PM me.

Have you tried eBay? Squier necks are usually pretty decent. Make sure the heel size matches that of your body though.

What sort of neck are you looking for? Do you want a Stratocaster neck? Is Squier all right?
I have some necks laying around. Some Fender, some Squier and some other brands (Ibanez, Charvel, Washburn etc).
Talk to you later,
Norm

Out of budget. Most well over $100. Too big a risk for something purchased unseen. Will keep checking junky local music store for whatever turns up. Just missed a pointy one while still painting my extant neck.

Then check your local Craigslist for $50 Strat clones, go try them to see if you bond with the neck, sell the remaining parts for a few bucks each to recoup some of the money.

JO, I have a Strat style neck laying around not being used. It's fairly nice, all maple with some birdseye and could use the fret ends filed. It came on a body that I wanted. The headstock has no decals and it's drilled for USA style Fender machines. $100 plus what ever it costs to ship it to you. I'll look tonight and see if it has a brand name.
