We played a coffee house that usually has bluegrass and gospel bands. They put up posters and hyped the gig on their facebook page and some people actually came in just to hear some surf, and it must have gone well, because they invited us back for another gig! —Ralph Be at one with the universe. If you can't do that, at least be at one with your guitar. |

My impression of the South is that they definitely have a pickin' culture – an appreciation of the guitar by layer and listener – that is largely lacking in other parts of the country. Glad for you that you get a good reception there. — |

We're practically neighbors. I play in a Bluegrass band and an Instro-Surf band. My Bluegrass band plays regularly at the Coffee Shack in Winterville. I'd through about trying to get The Out of Limits in there but I think we'd be too loud. We don't really do "traditional" surf.
