I've posted on the show announcements page that I'll be hosting a monthly surf show in Atlanta. I've started a blog (check it out here) to promote the shows, bands, and friends of the stomp. On the blog I'll feature pictures, videos, reviews, and much more content dedicated to all things Southern surf. You can also follow me on twitter and in the near future I hope to host a podcast as well (I'll keep everyone posted with it's progress). If you'd like to trade links, be featured on the site, or if there's anything I can do for anyone or any suggestions please PM me.

But if I may add a plead?
Please post here on SG101 when you have updates.
I understand the want and or need to do stuff like this
On yer own blog(more control etc). but the more things
That pop up surf wise(fb surf pages) on the net,that isn't on this forum kinda detracts From the need of sg101.
So please, do what yer gonna do.
But post here, when there are updates there.

It's a great idea Chad, good luck with it. If you have an icon or small graphic for your blog I can put it down in the footer of SG101 with a link.

Jeff, I will post here alongside my blog for sure. I just figure the more exposure, the better. Brian, that'd be great! I'll email it to you. And thanks everyone, I really love this community and think it's the best in the world. I just hope I can keep everything together and can give something back to a scene that's done so much for me over the years.

I recently added a concert calender to the top of the blog (and there's already a TON of great stuff on there). If you live in the South and are aware of any upcoming shows, I'd sure appreciate any info you can throw my way.

I am VERY pleased to announce my partnership with Jeremy DeHart of the Aqualads/Monterreys, which will not only be generating content for the blog (he already has two excellent articles on the site) but also his own installment of the podcast. The first episode will be streaming tonight at 5pm EDT on the site as well as Jeremy's Mixlr account and serves as a companion to his initial blog post. He's already provided some invaluable insights and together we have some big plans for the future, about which we will of course keep you updated.
While we still have the same site, we finally purchased a domain so you may now point your browsers to southernsurfstomp.com.
We also now have a brand new online store featuring CDs, vinyl records, and t-shirts from your favorite Southern surf and instrumental artists.
