Exactly three months from today: The Madeira 10th Anniversary & Live CD Release Show, with our good friends and surf legends the Volcanos (Detroit) and the Mystery Men? (Atlanta)!!!!! Really, the Volcanos AND the Mystery Men????? YES, INDEED! (I'm personally so excited about that!) Tommy AKA Dick Chiclet of the Concussions is now mixing our live CD, to be titled "Sonic Cataclysm", and we can't wait to have Double Crown deliver it to our grubby little hands by June 14th! We hope to really mix it up with our song selection that night, play a bunch of stuff we haven't played in a long time, as well as premiere several brand new tracks! It's gonna be an EPIC, LEGENDARY night - be there or spend the rest of your lives regretting it!

I CANNOT WAIT! Three decades of surf represented - one of the most iconic '90s surf bands, us from the '00s, and one of - if not THEE - best surf bands of this decade! And at our very favorite venue, a place that truly loves bands and treats us with respect! (You will NEVER hear "you guys are too loud, turn down!" at the Melody Inn!) Brian and Noel, very glad to hear you'll be there, and here's hoping to see a few more SG101ers - the weather is SURE to be better than in December!

Very cool! This cover seems to imply something really different about the sound and feel of the music inside from previous Madeira releases. I greatly look forward to hearing it. Congratulations!

Thanks, guys! Noel, you're right. The album is pretty raw, dark and high-energy. We're now finalizing the music, and I have to say that I'm really happy with how everything turned out. It'll be a rockin' release!

Can't wait to see you again, Brian and Warren! And Warren, trekking from SoCal to Indy for this show??? Unbelievable! I thought that trekking only happened FROM the Midwest TO SoCal - not the other way around!
We're gonna mix it up for this show, and only play songs either from our beginning or from our future! We hope to premiere two new originals and one brand new cover song (hint: it's by the Atlantics ) at this show. And the Mystery Men and the Volcanos!!!! Holy crap! I can't wait!!
