Cash price to members on this forum is 2700 plus shipping. The guitar is also listed on eBay with tons of photos. This guitar came to me from the original owner several years ago. He originally bought it in 1961 as an olympic white Fender Jazzmaster. He played it in a surf band for years, then in the late 1970's, his son borrowed it to play in a hard rock band. When he got it back, the body and pickguard had been cut into a teardrop shape. He put it in the closet, and that is how it sat until I purchased it. I called MJT, and had a white jazzmaster body made from alder and reliced to fit the condition of the original remaining parts of the guitar. I then went to a well respected vintage guitar dealer and purchased a complete 1961 jazzmaster pickguard with all original parts , shielding and everything. I then paid a professional to assemble everything and set the guitar up as original from the factory. I played it a bit, and decided to have a mastery bridge added. This auction includes the mastery which is still on the guitar This guitar plays and sounds amazing! I could go on and on, but I could never describe it as nice as it is in person. THIS GUITAR HAS ALL ORIGINAL 1961 FENDER PARTS EXCEPT FOR THE MJT BODY, THE MASTERY BRIDGE. The guitar does have some chips as shown in the photos.
