The Revels had a number of them.
Vesuvius
Six Pack (also done by the Lively Ones)
Good Grief
Soft Top

Plus they had a bad ass sax player.

Yep by the Surfaris

Not exactly a "shout out" but a modern classic nonetheless -

Dick Dale- Shake & Stomp

Also, lets go trippin by Dick Dale

Jeff(bigtikidude)

Thanks again, my list is growing. I also just remembered Ventures version of Secret Agent Man in Japan with little back-up singers doing the shout-out. For some reason I still like Stoked by BB's best and have that at the top of the list.

Satan's Pilgrims - Let's Go To The Beach

Tomatito by Les Arondes
http://lesarondes.bandcamp.com/track/tomatito

Shadowy Men On A Shadowy Planet - Theme From TV
Insect Surfers- Pinto Pacer Duster Gremlin
Chum- Chick Fight Tonight
Pollo Del Mar - Erik Estrada

"Look! No Head!" by Laika & The Cosmonauts

and a great cover version by The RoadRunners, also from Finland

unless i missed it in all the posts, the most obvious of all 'wipeout'

Listening to some old stuff last night and this one came up - thought it was a decent excuse to resurrect this thread Smile

Happy Sunsets!

"Shanti Baba" by The Charades.

The title seems to mean "peaceful grandpa," a hilarious contradiction with this recording. Listenening closely reveals a whining voice in the background. Great fun.
