Nice looking piece, for sure.

I brought her home today... well I've brought her to work. It is just me here so I am more playing guitar than working. I'm not getting paid for it, so don't think poorly of me! Just getting caught up.

A very respectable guitarist was a big fan of her as well. This guitarist and I talked quite a bit about surf music. He grew up in Denver and was a big Astronauts fan, I brought up the album cover with all the Fenders on it and he said he crushed over it as a kid. He covered Baja a few weeks back in Santa Cruz.

Very nice-looking, Jake. Does it sound as nice?

This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got.

It does actually! I'm a pretty picky acoustic person. The neck is pretty chunky, but I'll get accustomed to it. It's actually just barely not too large for my hand.

It sounds great both strummed and finger picked. It has the amazing chimier sound of 0-00 sized guitars and is really boomy at the same time. I'm quite pleased with that! My previous acoustic was a '62 D-28 and this isn't a huge step down, so that is really nice. The sound is more than enough and I will get use to the neck, the nut width isn't huge, the neck just is deep.
