Thanks for posting Simon.
Looks like we need Ivan for some more translating.
Is it just me, or my iPhone?
But it sounded like Dalibor was way higher in the mix.

Yeah, you're right: one can barely hear Dinko... Neutral

I'll add the new video to my post once more, just so that people don't get confused after the start of the new page.

Los Apollos - cinematic surf music trio (Berlin)
"Postcards from the Scrapyard" Vol. 1, 2 & 3 NOW available on various platforms!
"Chaos at the Lobster Lounge" available as LP and download on Surf Cookie Records!

Appears to be mono sound, when I record with Audacity in stereo both tracks are identical waveforms.

Maybe whoever uploaded to YouTube took a one channel feed.

Jeff(bigtikidude)

But luckily there is another copy of the show online, split into three parts but in STEREO!

That's my guess too.

Good 2nd find Simon. Thumbs Up

It's great they get so much tv exposure. When we saw them in London I said to Django Deadman wouldn't it be brilliant to get them on the Jools Holland Show but he thought it would cost several thousand pounds entry fee. Shame because usually when a band appears on the show they tend to do some large summer UK events and festivals. "later with Jools Holland Show" has had every type of act from Africa's Bassekou Kouyate and Ngoni Ba to a Chinese band (I can't remember their name though). The one and only surf band to ever to appear on the show was Dick Dale in 1995.

Nice! I love that Maggie clone that Dinko built. It has become the distinctive sound of the TBM. Big Razz

When you have to shoot ... shoot! Don't talk.

... you had to pay to get on Jools Holland? That never occurred to me.

I trust Django Deadman's word but I don't know how reliable his source is. Possible BBC budget cuts perhaps?

Great music!

Asked my Croatian friend Ivan Laic what the talk was about, his reply:

"First they talk about the movie "Night in Zagreb" mostly, then the standard why no vocals routine and then how they were contacted for Breaking Bad. Not much all in all, the music is way better than the talk."

cheers,
Marco
