I like this band a lot : great music, they use a lot of movie sample and they do it with great talent, they totally rock the stage live and they're very nice guys.

Nice to hear that the Taikonauts play well live. I played their first album to near hard-drive destruction! The new tracks on the Taikonauts website sound great - perhaps a little smoother than before i'm not sure.
Magnificent cover art with the Giza Plateau placed centre ..hey, Jean-Pierre Houdin!
I'm looking forward to hearing Mysteriis Alienis Mundi very much.

Seeing the video is another confirmation for me that this is a well deserved Wipeout! this week on NSSR. I'm proud that we were the first to be playing this track. Their first album was already killer but I'm convinced with their new album these guys will become a major force in the European surf scene. The video, cover artwork, music and image have all been perfectly thought out and exercised and their live performances are smashing. "Fatal Radiation Overdose" is a TaikoClasic!

Note:NorthSeaSurfRadio causes this iPod browser to crash so I can't enjoy tunes in the bath.

Well, TaikoJObeast, here's the actual story :
1959 : Last incident. Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA.
During a wrestling pratice, four Lucha Libre wrestlers were kidnapped by Martian Mega-3 pirates, brought to Saturn and frozen.
2008 : First contact. Saturn, Solar System.
The Mega-3 Martians establish contact with the observation satellite Go-Goal generation 9.3. After setting the defrosting program, the wrestlers are returned to Earth.
2009 : Earth, unreal world.
Shocked by the chaotic evolution of the 21st century, the four men take control of a run-down Mexican Music Store...
... More info on the back cover of "Mysteriis Alienis Mundi"...!
