Les Four Dreamers were French instrumentalists from the early sixties. Most of their work can be found on a CD called "The Four Dreamers - Complete Sixties Instrumental" the first half of which sounds highly influenced by the Shadows however in the second half they seem to have developed their own style and direction. The reason I've chosen to upload a couple of their later tracks is because most youtube uploaders tend to focus on their earlier releases.
The first video is called "Je Ne Veux Plus". A track you could almost imagine Los Twang! Marvels playing.
The second video is called "Jet Melodie" featuring a beautiful string arrangement.
Please excuse the video content (not rude at all) just some home movie clips I had on my drive. Hope you enjoy!

Nice finds Crumble. Now that you mention it, I could totally hear Los Twang! Marvels playing that first tune.
The strings on the 2nd tune sound almost disco-ish. I think I could have lived without them, they overpower the song at points.

I have to confess it took me a while to acclimatize to song 2 - Jet Melodie.
It's just the overwhelming deluge of similar sounding surf bands that is starting to make me crave this stuff lately. Bless 'em all for giving it a go though.

I'm sorry. I'm laughing so hard from watching those folks try to put that tent back in the little bag I forgot to listen to the music. Somehow I just knew it was going to open up again in the back of the car. Just like in real life.

"Just like in real life".
There's no use of CGI in this one Noel !! These are my real life friends and they really were having problems packing that tent. It was so hilarious that a quick thinking friend grabbed a camera. Over acting/larking around aside, they still couldn't get it in the bag! True!
