Hi all, long time lurker from the UK here. I've taken the plunge and had my first ever try at writing, playing and recording a surf(ish) song. All done by me in my man cave using the PC and my guitars. Only the drums are borrowed from the digital ether.
I know I have a long way to go, this is just an idea that needs fleshing out, and my recording / mixing skills are at a rookie level. Let me know what you think, but pull the punches just a little ;)

Great job. I could see maybe adding some keyboards or sax to change it up a little. But it's darn good for messing around with a PC in the man cave

Nice song. Good effort! You may consider a baritone or bass VI for your riff/solo at around 1:00 and again at the end of the song. That would bring more spaghetti into the surf!

Yes, I like it. You got the right feeling for the music. I like the coolness factor. You played not too much to fill every second, this is good!
The tempo is good. What I miss is a little different part more with a few different harmonies, a little second melody or something... I don`t know exactly...
...but at last it works in this way.
Go! More!
...everybody sit down, practice! (I do!)
Have fun!
— Twang cheers!
