I just posted this on Facebook/Twitter, but thought I'd post it here as well:
It's always surprised me that sales for our surf music, which sounds so perfect during the summer months, always slow down June through September. Especially this year, since we have several great new releases. To be perfectly blunt, we're stuck in a position where there's not enough money coming in to cover the cost of our upcoming releases, nor to pay postage for a full promo mailing for the releases we've already put out.
We're currently offering 20% off orders of $20 or more through the Double Crown website - www.doublecrownrecords.com. That's one of the best discounts we offer. Please take a moment and visit the site, and pick out a few favorites. Your orders will help get us through the summer and into the fall, when sales traditionally pick up a bit.
We have the money we need to put out the Continental Magazine, but we have a new Volcanics CD to pay for, and we've only sent out about half of the promos that we'd like to have out for our last few releases. It'd also be nice to do some ordering to get more fresh new releases in the shop, but the funds just aren't there at the moment.

I've got most of the things I'm eyeing (joining the music club makes me feel like a much less active Double Crown consumer) but I thought I would throw out there that the Routes Instrumental LP is absolutely killer and a gem of the Double Crown mail-order lineup
