Permalink Epi Valve JR head with a Bitmo tank reverb kit installed...SOLD

New Topic

This is a tricky one, as you'll have to trust that I'm capable with a soldering iron...
Mint Valve Jr, kit is cleanly installed, and it works perfectly. I was using it regularly with my AC15, but have lately streamlined, using a small Supro and a couple cheap pedals.
Been together about 18 months, and I've been very happy with it. If you're a tank-kicker, maybe you'll want this instead of beating up your Fender tank.
I'll include the original parts list and instructions in case you need them.
I'm asking $150 + half the shipping. (weighs about 15lbs, I'm in PA 15007)
I don't have any sound clips, but I know there are decent demos on youtube. If I had to describe it, it's pretty close to the Fender, though darker and not quite as "splashy". Dimed, it's too much. Becomes more of a "hall" reverb, where the mix is heavy on the effect side. Very good through the other 85% of the range. Much better than the onboard my Vox has...
