Hi All,
I need to downsize my collection...up for grabs are a Fender Bassman 50 head and a Yamaha EGV103C Surf Guitar. These have been well-cared for and are very good condition. They both sound great! PM if interested.

-
1972 Fender Bassman amp head. Very good cond, new tubes. Asking $500.
• Local tech modified circuit to match AB165 (January 1965) design.
• Disabled "death cap" and selector switch on AC power supply and has true grounded 3 prong cord installed.
• Bias mod - pot reflects true power tube bias, no longer a "hum" pot.
• Has had all filter caps replaced (large electrolytic capacitors in power supply).
• Upgraded electrolytic in the bias circuit.
• Has new choke - Classic Tone by Magnetic Components Inc.
• All resistors checked - any out of tolerance have been replaced.

~2005 Yamaha EGV103C SGV style Samurai Surf guitar. Surf blue color. A few dings, but otherwise in very good cond. Asking $350.
• Upgraded pickups -GFS 1959 Strat Overwound Pro Pickups.
• Replaced electronics - setup like Dick Dale strat with "blower" toggle switch (activates neck and middle pickups only), 3-way pickup switch, new 500k pots.
• New GFS tremolo arm and assembly.
• Professional setup with D'Addario 12-52 flatwounds by Dana Sutcliffe, master luthier.

I know John personally from the Ventures East Coast Fan Fests. He's a great guy and SUPER careful with his gear. I've seen this guitar in person (sadly didn't have time to play it) and it really looks terrific in person. The photos don't come close to doing it justice.

No. I can also ship within the lower 48. I would only charge the actual shipping costs, packaging, etc. Paypal would be best.

Bump! Great gear for sale by a great guy who's hyper careful with his gear.
For the uninformed here (Me!) what does this mean? "... modified circuit to match AB165 (January 1965) design."

Sorry for late reply guys!
Update...the Bassman is no longer for sale. It needed some repairs as the previous tech did not do a good job. I had Dana Sutcliffe, who is also a master luthier and restored my 1960 Jazzmaster, bring it back to original specs and it sounds awesome. I have decided to keep it.
The Yamaha is still for sale. Here is the link again to some pics.
