Permalink Baritone Guitar?

New Topic

Folks,

I am very interested in acquiring a used baritone guitar. I started with bass and now play guitar but I think I'd love that in-between sound. I'm looking for something as inexpensive as possible because...

a) My wife will kill me
b) I am not 100% sure it'll get more than a occasional play time

I've hunted my way through here because I'd like to find something used but can't see a way to search just this forum...so not much luck so far. I've also looked for SX guitars and had no luck with baritones. Nothing on craigslist and very little on ebay, too.

Any idea where I could turn to find something that fits the bill?

Thanks,

  • netgeist

I've got a Dano Longhorn Baritone to offer. 3 and a half Benjamins with hard sell case. I'll look for a picture to post.

Norcal,

I appreciate the offer and certainly don't want to offend - I'm just not a fan of that body style. I thought I'd be up front about that so you don't spend a lot of time and effort searching for the pics.

Thanks,

I favour my Dano Hodad Baritone. Look for a used one.

No offense taken.

I have a Danelectro 'Dano 63' baritone that serves me well. It handles tunings anywhere from E-E to B-B with the appropriate strings. Think it cost about $200 used.

Price is right on that, Dane. Do you recall where you got it?

Revhank...I do like the sound of the Hodad.

Mine came from eBay. There's one there right now for $200. Different model, though.
