After 8 years amazingly trouble-free operation dammit. Looking for alternatives to the utility that the mixer has given me over the years. Being something that fitted into my 19" mixer flight case was handy. The cheapness was just something that glazed my eyes at the time I bought it.

Shall I fork out for something classier, or get the olde demon fixed?

(Trouble with a getting a good run out of something is the danger of sentimentality. I found it useful for a recording interface with my macs, and as a handy desk for my PA (for small gigs), and as a device to connect my laptop/tapedeck/ipod to for play-through into whatever. Also after 8 years, I finally mostly know how to drive the contraption several different ways. Just sayin')

What do other peeps use for computer recording interfaces (with macs)?

I decided to stick with the devil I know - $140 later and its working again (maybe for another 8 years?)
