We have our hot originals, our covers of cult surf classics, etc, and what brings them out on the floor EVERY time? Yep...Wipe Out. Even the guy in the TV screen is dancing. Photo courtesy of Visual Historian Extraordinaire, Tuck.

For the Star Bar you need a 36:15 minute version of Wipeout. Inna-Googie-da-Wippuh. Ace Out Royale. Something to lay the place waste when it comes to a boil, which is fairly often. Everything about that place is nice except having to play under a TV from in front of the bathrooms. Even the beer is pretty exceptional.

Yup wipeout does it for us too. When I went to what in NZ is our equivalent of 'middle school' (ages 11 and 12 year olds) in 1974-75, the school orchestra's theme song was wipeout. Used to be get played on every possible occasion.
