Not bad! Here are three more in a similar style - really like all of these. This guy can play. Ivan Last edited: Jan 05, 2013 00:17:34 |

Guys, do a search on here for This Machine Kills Robots. They posted links to two free albums last year. Fans of Surf and very technical Metal will be in love with it. —THE KBK ... This is the last known signal. We offer Sanctuary. www.thekbk.com |

Thanks for bringing This Machine Kills Robots to my attention. I like that stuff. The others are kind of difficult to listen to with the drum machines. My favorite surf/metal crossover song is, Narita, by Riot. Recorded in 1979, it's got a hint of Penetration, but it's quite original. — |

What about prog surf? I'm thinking dissonant chords, odd time signatures, and intense fingerpicking. Been done? —IMO. |

Yes, Daikaiju and Mermen really embody the whole prog-surf thing. —THE KBK ... This is the last known signal. We offer Sanctuary. www.thekbk.com |

Here's a cool prog-surf tune by UR-a Secret Chiefs 3 splinter project... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KF0VFMnVyEw —Last edited: Jan 17, 2013 23:08:47 |

Those Secret Chiefs songs were great, especially the Labyrinth of Light track, which was cool and made me laugh with the crowd noise and '70's prog-rock vibe. Instrumental Stunt Rock! — |
