Permalink Who wants to sell me a Thin Skin Jaguar?

Specifically I'm looking for seafoam green, ocean turquoise or shoreline gold.

Good luck on the seafoam and ocean turquoise. I think those were colors from the first run (I could be wrong) and there don't seem to be as many of them floating around as other colors. Shoreline you might have an easier time finding because they seemed to linger on Wildwood for quite a while, but since they're gone now that may not be the case.

Get this one, quick!
It's the closest to what you're looking for, otherwise you might be looking for a long time to find one.
Dave's is an A-list shop, top service.

BTW, the Thin-Skin gold was Aztec gold, not Shoreline (which I think has been only CS produced this century.)
Shops that list this TS guitar as Shoreline, are wrong.

Nope. I had a TS Shoreline from Dave's. Stupidly sold it.

Wanna argue about it? Wink (just kidding.)
I admit I might be wrong.

There was definitely shoreline gold as well as aztec. I know guitarsandeffects.com as an aztec or their website listed as shoreline gold. That said, they do exist...somewhere...

Do we have a handle (or a guess) on the quantities of TSs in each color that were produced??

Download (for free!) "Overhead At Darrington"--fiddle tunes arranged for surf-style electric mandolin--by Bruce Harvie and The Sandfleas here...

I know I've heard 25 but I don't know what colors that applies to.

Anyone?

Maybe each dealer got that quantity in each color. I think it was Wildwood that posted each guitar individually and they certainly had at least 25 of each color if not more. They had a ton of stock.

If you know someone in london...

Thanks. That sure looks like Lake Placid Blue to me...

Still looking...

Surely there must be one out there somewhere...

Have you looked into building one? A lot of people have done just that and had a great time doing it. Otherwise you may be waiting a while and be subject to an elevated price...

Hey Matt, I've built a few Jazzmasters (and Teles and amps and pedals) but just dont't have the time or desire to do so now. I realize I may be heading down that road though...

Well, somebody's mighty proud of this one. Yeah, it's a beaut, but $1,950???? Shocked

There was a Daphne thin skin for $1250 just two days ago. I considered it but I considered the Marr's to be superior so I went with that.
