Nice! Will definitely be snagging a copy of this.

That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it.

I need to get the lot! Gimmie some fuzz.

We've got some more video diddies from that night, here's our live rendition of a lesser-known Ventures number, Wild Child, gotta love that Kinks rip-off!

And here's "Theme from Angels never die", "Dynamite" (via Clee-Shays) and, inevitably, "Blues Theme".

THIS RECORD IS FANTASTIC!!! I was listening to this again today. Great melodic songs and incredible playing throughout. A must have. Not every song has a super heavy Fuzz either. Killer guitar tones with a mid- sixties vibe. Some of the stuff reminds me of The Hondells instrumentals. This is one of the best instrumental records in ages. Not kidding. And it doesn't get the attention it deserves!

Anybody in touch with Daniel? He hasn't posted in a while. Would love to know what's shakin' with his cool band.

You're right Shivers. This is a great record. It's in heavy rotation in my car!

Either you surf, or you fight.

I recorded the videos.

Now he's in a parallel project named Akron

That is fantastic, Carlos. I followed the music trail and played some of their (Akron) other stuff. Very interesting, explorative. Brings immediately to mind The Man From RavCon. Cool!

This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got.

I did not know that was the name of the album as I wrote my post. The list of music I want to buy just keeps getting longer. It comes out faster than I can keep up with. Something special is really happening in our corner of the music world.

Thanks Carlos, for the heads up on AKRON! I will certainly be picking up their stuff.

Both AKRON and BORN LOSERS have such a fantastic dead-on vintage 60's authenticity. Listening to CYCLE GUITARS I sometimes think I'm listening to mid-sixties "Wild Things" era Ventures. Thumbs up on not just the playing and songs but the recording and production too.

AKRON makes me think of a space-themed exotica record from that time or a soundtrack to some obscure 60's Italian Sc-Fi Film. I dig it, bigtime!!

Tokelau by Akron...
