Wear gloves - I'm in the Rockies

I just saw these two youtube videos posted on facebook. - Vocal songs by Eddie and the Showmen circa '64. Proof Eddie was keenly aware of the emerging "new" sound coming from the other side of the ocean. Even though it's not surf, it's still cool.
Songs:
Come On Babe - Walking The Dog - Dannyboy
Just Look - Sheila - Theme 1 (I know this one as "we are the young" on the Squad Car cd.)
— "You can't tell where you're going if you don't know where you've been"

Yes - do you know if Eddie was singing on that one? I think it kinda sounds like him, but maybe not....

Showman Stomp is one of my favorite surf vocal tunes. The style reminds me of Dick Dale's singing a little.

Previously unreleased demos. It looks like they came out in 1980. It says so on the record label in the picture. I googled "Moxie records" http://richlabonte.net/moxierecords/ Probably given to Moxie records by Andy Cahan http://www.allentertainment.net/bio.html , whom the label thanks. It looks like he was a record producer and ex-Turtle.

Eddie really wanted to regain control of his music. Like most young musicians of the time he was conned out of it for very little consideration.

Love the label---"Moxie Records presents Eddie and the SNOWMEN". Wonder if they used those Fender Snowman amps for this recording. Hope Eddie got a chuckle out of this gaffe, but probably not!
