I wonder how it would sound, I can't test it because I don't have a tube reverb (yet). Do you guys do it? Any recorded songs with it?

The closest I have seen is Daikaiju, who use phaser pedals quite a bit. —THE KBK ... This is the last known signal. We offer Sanctuary. www.thekbk.com |

We use to play Gary Hoey's version of Hocus Pocus. The opening & middle break used a flanger with tube reverb. It sounded fine. — |

Yeah, Daikaiju uses a phaser a lot, a really lush sounding phaser - it's awesome. Favorite track with phaser from them is "Lifts over neon city" - wicked! Flangers are weird... I've owned three flanger pedals over the years and several multi effects units with flanger as well, I never really found a great use for it, strange kind of limited effect. |

No phase or flanger yet BUT I do use a pitch vibrato pedal, very cool, especially for creepy, spooky or spacey stuff! —http://www.facebook.com/CrazyAcesMusic |

I use a phase shifter with full reverb for the last verse of Surf Rider. Here's a vid from our first gig last June to give you an idea: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePUzqAwGWgo&feature=plcp —the Undead Bureaucrats The Rum Sweats Last edited: Nov 15, 2012 20:56:43 |

I am still testing an effect for the chords of Telstar. I've tried Rotary and Chorus. Like 'em both. Happy Sunsets! |

For a recording on the SG101 2012 MP3 downloads I used a phaser on the lead guitar. This is "Waterboard Surfing." The phaser was on for the "submersion" sections and off for the "interrogation" sections of the song. I had plenty of reverb and delay underneath. —Insanitizers! http://www.insanitizers.com Last edited: Nov 19, 2012 22:07:06 |
