When I walk down the street/All the women that I meet/say WAAAAAAAAAAH! awesome. just in case any of you guys in the US are unaware, Lord Sutch was the archetypal British eccentric, and led a political party known as the "Raving Monster Luny Party". |

I thought the Who were the band that smashed their equipment. as for the song, I really like it alot. Does anybody know if the Ghastly ones have ever done it live. I really think they should. Norman could do a great SLS. Jeff(bigtikidude) —Jeff(bigtikidude) |

That footage is from his Joe Meek period which I think was great and much better than what he did later. I used to have an album of re-recordings from the 80s on Ace but got rid of it. However, I can really recommend the "Screaming Lord Sutch Story" LP. First side is all horror songs while side B mainly contains totally wild 50s rock'n'roll. Most, if not all the songs are produced by Meek. I don't think this stuff have ever been released on CD except for some songs on different comps. — |
