Geez thanks Jeff and Linda.
Both the Pier show and the memorial event moved us deeply. As I walked up on stage I could feel not only the love from everyone in the room but also the warm spirt of something hovering and watching down on all of us, smiling in support. I felt it at the pier as well. To be in the presence of such wonderful people is just plain staggering. There were so many fans there at the Starting Gate including so many of the greats of surf and instrumental rock. Amazing. The guys in the band are so appreciative and honored to have been part of this wonderful event.
I've said this many times that we surf fans are just one big family.
You Jeff stand tall among us. A true inspiration.
PJ if you are reading this, thank you so much for your wonderful words.
Truly there is no one quite like Baja Marty. His spirit will be with us always.

Eddie,
I am so thankful that you guys were able to hang around,
and be part of the Baja Marty Memorial.
He would have been stoked to see you guys again.
I really hope he was looking down on us all.
I feel blessed to be part of this Big Surf Family,
to Know The Surge, and to have Known Marty.
Thanks you my Brothers and Sisters in Surf

Here's a pic I took of The Surge the other night at Baja Marty's memorial.
