Permalink 1996 Fender (Custom Shop) Dual Professional

I bought this thing about a year ago, it's virginal. Not a mark on it, has the original slip cover as well. Build date on it is 2/17/96. I'm sure you know the details on it, but if not I'll be glad to go into detail.

It's all original except for a couple changes I've made.

1 - I had the tremolo slowed down some, so when it's on "1", it's more ambient and less choppy. You still have machine gun fast on 10, but 'stock' 1 is now about 3. It was just a resistor change, it can be changed back to bone stock in 5 minutes.

2 - The stock speakers were Celestion Vintage 30s, which didnt sound good to my ears. I had a pair of JBL E120's I bought brand new in 1991, and installed them. Sounds GREAT but weighs 40 million tons. So I took them out. Amp has no speakers in it right now, but I'm thinking about putting in a pair of WGS speakers, they seem like just what it needs. I can get the V30's back if you really want them.

So here's the deal.... I already have a '66 Twin and a '64 Deluxe. I just got lucky and found a real '65 Super, which is what I always wanted. The DP is odd amp out now, made redundant. BUT, it IS the 'baddest' amp Fender has ever made, the most expensive (at the time), and king of all Custom Shop amps. So it has that cool factor and lets face it.. .DAMN that blond/oxblood stuff looks GOOOOOOD. So I just like it sitting in my living room staring at me lol.

Im open to offers on it as is with no speakers or with the JBLs. Also, I want $300 for the JBL's (pair) they come in the original boxes and packaging. They have only left the house once in 21 years and they were very lightly used all these years. They were in my Twin, and it never got up past 3 on the volume knob. (I had the original Jensens reconed to restore the amp, is why I removed the JBLs).
