That sounds like a decent deal... I have been very lucky finding amps, but it takes a long time and effort to find the (blackface or silverface) deals... that's what is fun for me, the hunt.
The high prices are for the convenience of instant ownership, the rest of us have to hunt. I found a near mint 66 bassman head and cab for 150 at a yard sale, it did not fire up. I found a bad tube, replaced it and it roared to life. I called the guy who sold it to me because he said he had an old jag that I could look at too. He never returned my call, I bet he thought I was mad that he sold me that "amp that didn't work"
Still you can't go wrong with your re-issue!
