Sweet amp, but where's the reverb? I think my tank is bigger than the amp?

Not all wattage is created equal. Sometimes 15 watts is louder than 100?? I think it's funny when amp makers use this as a marketing tool. Last edited: May 21, 2012 21:00:19 |

Pretty soon we'll be walkin' around with an amp the size of a watch strapped to our wrist. Ha ha! Be careful following the masses. Sometimes the "M" is silent........................... Last edited: May 21, 2012 21:13:12 |

Sounds like crap. Half the wattage was used to make it hum like that. If you think that's something, wait til you see my latest invention, the amp that fits in your underwear. If you're good, you don't have to stop playing to turn the knobs. |

Now that would be cool Carol. A portable amp that actually looked like an old style lunch box. Flintstones? Jetsons? Batman? The Munsters? The Adams Family? Bonanza? Star Trek? Johnny Quest? You guys can say what you want, but the ZT Lunchbox is a GREAT little amp. Both guitars in my band run ZTs coupled to 15" neo speaker cabs, and we get as much loud, clean tone as we want. No onbosrd reverb, but that's what reverb pedals and/or a tank was made for. Total weight for amp and cab is under 30 lbs of serious surf worthy "whoopass"! My back thanks me everytime we do a load in -loud out. If it's good enough for ZZ Top, it's good enough for me. |

True dat! I was trippin' out when I heard it! I love the Crate Powerblock as a backup head, but this little gem might get me out of a jam, (literally), if I ever blew a speaker too. It would probably fit in my gig bag. Be careful following the masses. Sometimes the "M" is silent........................... Last edited: May 22, 2012 00:34:56 |

When I first saw a ZT Lunchbox I was at a friend's house. He had just got his Lunchbox and had it set up in his living room sitting on top of a 15" single speaker cab and along side of a 12" cab. He told me to play through it and then see if I could guess which cab I was playing through. I cranked the volume up on a Jazzmaster and played for about 5 minutes and then guessed that it had to be the 15" cab. I then found out that the ZT was not plugged into EITHER cab - I was playing directly through the little six and a half inch speaker in the amp and it was LOUD! Up until that point I had laughed at the idea of playing through something that looked like a space heater, but hearing what it could do made a believer out of me. Good things really can come in small packages. |
