Oscars, Grammies, Emmys, People's Choice. Yep, it's award season--
The subject of a SG101 year end poll came up, and then dissappeared.
What do you think? Should there be a year end poll? Shoud we acknowledge the great accomplishments of our peers or is our pond too small for big fish? Do the bands already have big heads and really need more ego gratification or should we give credit where credit is due? Discuss these topics here, but first vote "Yes" or "No".

I think it's a good idea, but wasn't there a super-low voter turnout both times there was one on the old Yahoo group? Ah, the many wonders of democracy in action ...
I'm fine with it so long as no one nominates their own band.

I voted yes, mainly cause it will give a nice opportunity to get comments on all '06 releases nicely grouped together in one thread, whcih makes it worth the effort.
shouldn't there be some kind of prize... ceremony ....
