Permalink Songs Needed For Continental Magazine #14

New Topic

We are starting work on Continental Magazine #14, set to come out April/May 2007. Now's the time to reserve ad space and/or sign up to be included on the issues 20+ track compilation CD. Please reserve space in advance (especially if you are interested in the inside or outside covers). Payment must be received with ad by the deadline specified below. You may now pay for your ad with your credit card - e-mail us for details. Ads must be submitted as computer files, preferably e-mailed as a PC format .jpg or .tif file. Your ad MUST fit the dimensions specified below:

--Full Page (5.0 inches wide x 8.0 inches tall) $65.00*
--Half Page (5.0 inches wide x 4.0 inches tall) $45.00
--Qtr. Page (2.5 inches wide x 4.0 inches tall OR 5.0 inches wide x 2.0 inches tall) $35.00

*Outside back cover is $120.00 Inside front and back covers are $90.00.

If you are in a band or run a label that produces surf, instro, garage, rockabilly or exotic music, you can have your song on the next Continental
Magazine CD for only $65 per song. In exchange you will receive:

--12 copies of the finished magazine with CD (these retail for $5.95, so if
you sell all 10 magazines you will make $71.40).
--1 half page advertisement in the upcoming issue (measuring (5.0 inches
wide x 4.0 inches tall)
--1 link to your band or label website from www.dblcrown.com

If you have sent a CD for review in the last 6 months I probably have your
CD and can just take a song from it. If not, then I will need you to send a
CD or CD-R with the track or tracks you'd like to submit. Payment can be
sent with your CD (cash/check/money order), or you can send a Paypal payment for $65 to: records@dblcrown.com

This is only available for songs that are surf, instro, garage, rockabilly
or exotic music. There are probably some songs that are outside these genres that will be acceptable too. However, I don't want songs that are obviously outside these genres - no techno, modern/alternative rock, modern country, folk, classical, etc.

Deadline is March 31st, 2007. If you have any questions, e-mail me at:
records@dblcrown.com

If you would like to send music for review in The Continental, please get it
to us by February 28th, 2007.

Advertising deadline for The Continental #14 is March 31st, 2007. It will be
out Spring 2007.

Please send your ad with payment to:

Continental Magazine - Issue #38 w/17 Song CD

Hey, just wanted to give you some encouragement, as I know what you do has got to be tough sometimes -
I just got my #12 and #13 magazines and CDs - they are great, and I love to get comps like this to hear new groups and see what I might like to buy - plus, get some background on many of the bands I might not be familiar with. For instance, in #12 you highlight Satan's Pilgrims, and I will definitely be buying more of their music.
Keep it up! It's worth it!

Thanks for your support. Things are coming along nicely for the upcoming issue. I have the articles, interviews and reviews lined up and about 60% complete. As for the CD, I've got about 14 songs so far - I'd like to get another 6-8 songs for it by the end of March, so if anyone's interested please drop me a line: records@dblcrown.com
