Does anyone know what scale is used in Hawaii Five-O by The Ventures???

Here is an analysis from The Best of the Ventures (Signature Licks) As I understand it according to this book, it's the C minor (Dorian) scale. But then there are those two key modulations.

Thanks Websurfer! Helped a bunch. You to Revhank. I threw in some chromatic scales when I played the song, had some fun with it.

Off Topic I know but that is one of the most if not the most awesome avatars I've ever seen here!!

Don't know if this is helpful, but I learned this song by playing along with 'Slo-Mo HVO' by the Mermen, from "At The Haunted House." The way that Jim Thomas plays it nice and super slow makes it really really easy to figure out. He does it in Gm, though, but it's pretty cool.

Another slooooow version is Martini 5-0 by the Blue Hawaiians.....I'll drink to that!

Happy Sunsets!

haha thanks Seafoam Johnny! ill check those versions out TomH and Tahitijack, sounds cool!
