I've just started back up playing traditional surf guitar and have been playing weekly with an experienced Surf drummer and bass player. A 2nd guitar would be a great addition. In this band I'm playing a Fender Jaguar through a '64 Showman. Similar Fender "surf" gear would be a good fit for second guitar.
There will be occasional gigging but this would be considered a side project / for fun band. (we each knew 50+ surf tunes before we got together...would be great if the second guitar already new at least a dozen or 2 traditional surf songs)
let me know if interested,
thanks!

Dang, I wish we were a bit closer together (I'm just north of Santa Barbara). Sounds like a perfect fit for me and lots of fun!

Good luck man. That's a little far for me but if we move to San Clemente that would get me closer. I doubt my crappy Vox practice amp would cut it, but if I started playing with people it would give me a much better excuse to my wife to buy something proper haha.
I hope you find someone
