Tqi: Is it morally acceptable to use a Radial capacitor in a 1960 amp design?

synchro: TQI, morality is a huge question and capacitors a deep subject. I say do it and don't tell anyone. Smile

Permalink New, Gomez "El Sonido" Chassis blanks- $40 (Free Shipping)

New Topic

For sale are brand new, never used, high-quality, 16G steel amplifier chassis blanks. These were the chassis used for the Gomez El Sonido amplifier (discontinued)-which was a Fender 6G6-B Bassman clone.

A bias pot hole (ala BF Fenders) has been implemented in the chassis to allow for bias measurements.

The hole for a tube rectifier is installed-just like the 6G6-B's were built. A new, 16G steel octal cover plate is included with every chassis.

Made in the USA.

Dimensions:

Length: 20 1/4"
Height: 1 3/4"
Depth: 7 1/4" (Top)
8" (Bottom)

These chassis do not line up with Fender amp plates.

However, Mojotone stock solid state bias boards work beautifully here. The PT and OT transformer cutouts will accommodate Fender drop-in Bassman replacements perfectly. See those for sale in my other post.

The choke holes are for a 125C1A.

Again, they're perfect for your 50W Bassman clone or project amp.

$40 each
Price includes --->FREE SHIPPING.

Thanks. DGG
