Prior to this, I had only seen footage of the Astronauts doing "Baby Please Don't Go" playback at the beach in the 1966 movie Out Of Sight. Although a really cool appearance, it doesn't beat something like "Firewater" in the livingroom. As for the Surf Party movie, does anyone know if the song "Surf Party" has the group in view or if it's just played during the opening credits? — |

Man, this reminds me of the last party I threw, except mine was in color... and there was a lot more drinking..... and a lot less girls.... and no band.... and no dancing..... Come to think of it, this was nothing like my party, but DAMN do I wish it was. You also gotta love the poor poor attempt at synching up the players with the song -- there's one point where the guy on the far right looks like he's stopping to wipe his hand down or something like that.
