Moved to Surf Musician forum. Some limited discussion of that here in the middle of this thread: Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

I decided to do it for one month, just so that I could apply for a soundtrack. I ended up forgetting about it and here it is 4 months later. I have seen zero benefit from it. —THE KBK ... This is the last known signal. We offer Sanctuary. www.thekbk.com |

I just cancelled it. I really saw no reason to continue it. The opportunities on Reverb Nation that having the press kit opened up were almost always for pop, hip hop and r&b artists... —THE KBK ... This is the last known signal. We offer Sanctuary. www.thekbk.com |

Not enough venues utilizing RN imo to make it worth the money. We have booked a few gigs via RN though and I encourage all the venues we work with to get an account / check it out. And no we didn't cough up the $$$ for the kit. We just perform locally / regionally though (app: 100 mile radius of home), a more well known band playing multi-states or nationwide might see the pay-off? —Last edited: Jan 13, 2012 07:13:13 |
